DropZones are great decoys. I hunt over DZs and Dave Smiths. Both have their own benefits.
What i really like about the dropzones is the paint and the textured surface. They dont shine. Even in the northwest where we get squalls to pass through between sunbreaks, the ridged surface does a great job of killing the glare from the decoys. My DSDs have trouble with that.
Biggest draw back is size and shape. The bases mean you almost have to hunt out of a trailer. I have mine in an Avery 6 slot honker bag, but it is very big and unwieldy.
I also kill most of my honkers over my DZs and never put out more than 8 decoys.
