Remington nitro mag BBB's worked well for me opening day in 3 1/2's. Although a buddy I was hunting with was using BB 2 3/4's and got 4 the same day, although opening day residents are awfully easy to blast.

Steel haha, hevi-shot all the way, but I would like to shoot some TSS #7s at'em when it gets approved, but that won't be until 6-9 months. For now it will be hevi #4s.

Favorite steel load is 3 inch rem hull with 1 1/16 oz BB at 1730 fps.

Well last friday i could have used a .410 #4 shot and would've dropped'em. But i use 3" BBB or BB for a 12ga and thats all year around for early season to those late season hogs.

3" 1 1/16th oz #1's in 20ga.
2 3/4" 1 1/16th oz #1's for short 12's
3" 1 1/8 oz #1's for 3" 12's
and if I use a big gun I use #1's in a 10ga.
sorry but I do not own a 3 1/2 12ga gun.

I agree w/ Robberwood - Federal #2 in 3 1/2, 10ga. With those in my BPS, it's just like in the old sci fi movies - "they are powerless against me."
