So bow season is this weekend...anyone have some good recipes?
I usually use the tenderloins and marinade them in a Steak sauce over night, grill to a medium and chow down.
The rest i dehydrate into a spicey concoction of deer jerky that usually only lasts 4 days around the house.
3/4 bottle of Masterpiece dry steak rub
3-4 splashes of soy sauce
bottle of worschire (spelling?)
crushed red pepper-to your liking
Marinade over night, throw on the dehydrator for 5 hours...mmmm...

backstraps make great cutlets for chicken frying. jerky is good, but don't forget sausage. the ribs can be good but even on big deer its not muc return for the effort and you need patience. i made patte from the liver once...wasn't great but not too bad a dip. if i can find the recipie i used i'll post it.
