Lettuce Wraps

Postby takemnow » Tue Nov 01, 2011 3:28 pm

I'm usually a grilled duck with bacon kinda guy, but had some spoonies, and tried this recipe from one of the guys at my refuge

1 tbs greated fresh ginger
3 gloves fresh garlic
olive oil (or peanut)
2 duck breasts, cubed small
1 tbs sliced green onion
1 tbs diced water chestnuts (or celery)
2 tbs Hoisin sauce
1 tbs soy sauce
Boston Lettuce Leaves

In a skillet over medium high heat, fry garlic and ginger for 30 seconds. Add duck. Cook until medium rare, stiring often. Place cooked duck, and next 4 ingredients (through soy sauce) in food processor. Plus several times until blended. Place 2-3 tablespoons of duck in each lettuce leaf, fold and enjoy.
