Goose poppers???

Postby holtspur » Mon Aug 27, 2012 8:29 pm

Have any of y'all done goose breast instead of duck in the poppers, did it taste good? Another question how do y'all cut the breast for the poppers and do you grill the meat seperatly and then put it all together or cook the meat then add the peppers and cream chease? It's my first time cookin this, sorry for the ignorance.

The Cajun 7 Course Meal; 1 lb. of boudin and a six pack of Abita beer.

this is the best way to cook a goose.
fully puck out a goose.
put bacon, whole onion, potatos, carrots inside the goose .
salt pepper the goose
put him on a cedar plank
put in the oven at 400F for 4 hours
that to goose out
throw the goose away and eat the board.
lol

I love it when people say this coined story about geese. Yes sir i totally agree goose is the worst meat ever doesn't matter how you prepare it it will just taste like plain garbage. They are not even worth hunting cuz they taste so awful. I tried feeding some to my dog and even she turned it down. I then threw it in the trash can outside and when I woke up in the morning the coons tipped it over and ate everything but the goose meat... :hi:
