BBQ duck 3 flavors

Postby Phild » Mon Oct 15, 2012 3:19 pm

I decided to make lunch for the guys at work and do a few different flavors all I did was prepare my ducks whole and use a few different sauces and marinade them over night.
1) honey mustard malpe sauce from Pampered Chef cut it with some water to thin it out and BBQ at 300 degrees
2) cherry chipoltle
3) VH honey garlic

That looks awesome. What kind of birds are those? I like plucking birds and cooking them whole but I have to say those things look like geese and unfortunately we dont see them often in Floirda.

Did you cover and grill or smoke the birds?

About a hr or so on low heat (as low as it would go) turning in the sauce ever 10 mins or so, if I was not doing it at work turn ever beer for a 6 pack lol, no stuffing then at the end took them out and turned up the grill to high and seared each side for a few mins.
