Quick teal recipe

Postby Tinner4 » Tue Sep 24, 2013 5:56 pm

Hubby wants to make teal tonight, usually he soaks it with liquid smoke or other marinades overnight and we cook them up with peppers etc. I think he wants to maybe try something new tonight and they have only been soaked in salt water. He thought maybe some cream of mushroom and rice but honestly I don't think that sounds so good.... Any suggestions besides jalapeno poppers? I know those are good and quick!

Teal breast stir fry! Lightly pan sear the breast and take them out. Then just throw a bag of frozen veggies in with some oil and cook those a few minutes. Then pour some of your favorite sauce in and the teal back in. Heat it all up and try to time your rice to be done at the same time. Delish and easy.

Oh make sure to slice your breasts up into decent sized chunks first.

I keep thinking that's probably the quickest too. He also mentioned trying chili. Guess maybe we'll do some experimenting tonight!

we'll try it next time Swamp! He made chili with it. I didn't try it... shame on me. But he liked it, guess that's all that matters lol. I was reading a duck recipe online though that had a blueberry sauce.. how good would blueberries and teal be? I've had pork with fruit sauce and I LOVED it.
