Postby young ducker » Sat Nov 03, 2007 5:59 pm

Yesterday i made uf a real good batch of goose jerky. my 4th pice I bit down on a pice of ####### steel shot and broke half of one of my mollers off. Can't get it fixed till next week sometime. Watch out for that stuff.

You might try one of the shot detectors used for wild birds...supposedly they detect any and all kinds of shot.

I also metal detect as a hobby. I run all my ducks and geese though the detector. It works like a champ since I pluck most of my birds.
