We ate fresh fried Frog legs last night. Caught a mess of 'em thursday night...50 or so frogs. The river is still high and the frogs are still spread out. they normally grab over 100 per boat...Best way to skin them is to grab the skin with your fingers on the back, cut a finger hole with a knife, then pull like cleaning a squirrel-much easier than squirrels though-skin peals off easy. 3 of us cleaned 50 frogs in like 8-10 minutes....
I like them soaked in buttermilk first for about an hour, then batter with a little egg wash, flop in seasoned flour and fry at 375....mmmmm they were awesome!
