Duck and venison chili

Postby ricemanff » Sun Nov 09, 2008 1:01 am

Hey guys try this out. It is a great chili recipe
2lbs of cubed duck
1 lbs of deer sausage or just more duck
2 cans of kidney beans
2 cans of stewed tomatos
1 tablespoon of chili powder add more if you want it spicy
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
1 white onion
1-2 cloves of garlic
2 cups of celery
1 1/2 teaspoon of sugar
1 hamhock
i usually put the duck in a bag over night with the dry ingredients then in the morning put it in a pot on med low for 4 hours and make a little corn bread to top it off. Let me know if you like it also add more salt to taste about two hours into cooking for real spice add a jalapeno or two or "dave's insanity sauce" that will heat it up
"Ducks on The Water" The movie will be out one of these days
