Well, I guess I've been hunting for well over 40 years...
I've been giving my geese away for nearly 30 years.
I took an old college mate hunting a number of years ago;
he brought along a friend who was also a goose guide in Idaho.
We had a good hunt, and I was pawning off my honks to my buddy,
the guide thanked me for being so amicable...giving away my game meat.
I told him that I hated 'em, always hated 'em, always will hate 'em!
He let me in on The Secret...
*Marinade breast fillets then in Kraft Zesty Italian Dressing for 24 hours.
*Bar-B-Que like a steak...RARE.
*Slice in thin strips like a flank steak.
I still gave away my geese...didn't believe him.
The next time I was hunting solo...No one to take the 4 honkers.
Took 'em home and followed his instructions. WOW!
I recently had a large, fancy dinner party. Well, as fancy as this hillbilly can get. I served up the meat. Everyone was complimenting me on the quality beef. I told them I had it flown in!
The gig worked great, right up until a buddy's trophy wife bit into a T shot! I fessed up...but everyone finished the goose and wanted more.
I highly recommend this simple, delicious method.
