Ungutted ducks in fridge

Postby bayoufrogg » Sat Nov 29, 2008 12:52 pm

If I dont have time to clean ducks the day of the hunt, is it okay to keep them ungutted in the fridge??? If so, up to how long would this be safe?

ya its perfectly fine if your birds aren't to shot up. also it should make them taste better. In cold weather I've hung my birds for 5 days before breasting them. I wouldn't leave them in your fridge if you plan on plucking them though.
