Goose roast

Postby R. Toker » Sun Jan 11, 2009 9:48 am

Trying this recipe out today. Last night I cut up two goose breasts into strips. I soaked them overnight in Sprite soda. In a roaster pan I skinned and cut up several potatoes, 1/4 diced onion and two packs of Lipton onion soup mix. I put the goose in the roaster pan this morning at 7:30am in the oven at 350 degrees. When I get off work today at 4pm it should be ready!! Just in time for my Steelers game!!!! I'll let you know how it turns out.

Turned out great!!! Tasted like beef pot roast. No one could believe they were eating wild goose.
