I went out hunting last Thursday when that big storm blew through the midwest. It got down into the upper teens when we were putting the boat in that morning. We got her in and fired her up and to our great surprise, the steering lines were frozen solid.
Any ideas for preventing this or correcting it if it does happen.

That happened to my dads boat. He's got hydraulic steering cable thingies. He ended up having to put a new assembly in.
