Where can I get a stainless steel prop for a 25 hp merc?

Honestly I wouldn't put one on a duck boat, but if you really want one call your local prop shop :withstupid: :yes:

I wouldn't dream of running anything other than a stainless. The performance benefits and durability are unmatched. Try Cabelas, they have a pretty good SS prop for low hp motors.

We personally hunt enough stuff that is shallow that a lot of props get chewed pretty bad, I have always been told the stainless props won't give as much and will put more force on the lower unit, also I know a few guys that have gone to those props with the plastic blades since they can replace the blades for like $10 a pop

I also would not run anything other than a stainless due to durability and performance. I shoot divers is right that there could be damage done to the lower unit. I have personally seen shafts bent, but only twice. I have ran stainless for the past 8 years and have not bent a shaft, and I have hit everything from stumps to rocks.


Powertech propellers is a major manufacturer but I dont know if they have a website.
