duck boat blind?

Postby southeasternduckman » Sun Dec 11, 2005 5:17 pm

i have 16 and 1/2 foot triton flat bottom boat with a fifty horse mercury. i am wanting to either buy or build a blind to put on it. how much do you think it would cost to buy a blind, or would it be very tough to build one for it myself?

Scroll down the topica in this forum and look at the one titled Montana redneck boat blind. I just finished mine and I love it. It was alot cheaper than anyone of the ones I seen in a magazine. And is fairly simple to build.

not at all

No not at all. I worked on it mainly by myself. It is not that bad. It only took me one day to build the frame and paint it. Then the next day I put the camo on it. If you build it yourself you will appreciate it more.

We bought one from cabela's with NORTHERN FLIGHT GRASS and absolutely love it!! very dependable and all we had to do was throw it on the boat. VERY VERY IMPRESSED with it. Lots of room and it's adjustable to what width u want at the top.
good luck with whatever you choose!!

I second the montana redneck boat blind. it was very easy, and inexspensive to build. I never really finished brushing mine up, but we been killin em all season with it.
