what's my boat worth?

Postby tylerwireman » Thu Dec 29, 2005 1:20 am

Hey everybody. I was wonderin if i could get some input from ya deciding what my boat may be worth. After this season I may be selling and upgrading to a bigger boat and hyper drive. Here's what I have. A 15' semi deep V with three swivel seats and rubber flloor mats throughout.A vanguard 13hp longtail mud motor. Runs like a top, and pushes well up river with two guys dog and decoys. A Flip open MAX-4 Blind that has proven to kill many a greenhead. Also to go with it is a tilt trailer. If you guys could help me out a little it would be aprreciated. Thanks and good luck on the remainder of the season.

Sorry, but we don't have many mud motors around here and I couldn't even venture a guess for your set up... good luck

The boat is from 85'. It's riveted with no leaks. the motor is from the
2000's. It's a pull start.

Boat - $1000
Motor - $1000
Trailer - $400
Blind - $400
$2800.00
This is probably top $$$.

I'd say $2,500 tops. The boat is not a MM boat, the motor is a low hp long-tail, the blind might have cost $500 new, but used blinds are like used cars. Trailer might be the best thing you have.....Just Kid'n.

If I were you I'd start at $3,000 and let someone talk me down a little.

Or you could sell it to Gooseboy for $10,000! :toofunny:

$2,500 - #$3,000 is a good asking price. I wouldn't give more than 1700.
