I'm taking the plunge from a 1232 to a 1448 with open floor plan. Time to start the boat build all over again. So I will be posting up my other boat in the classifieds. I will have to take some pics as the build goes during this off season. I posted the link up to my last build (the one that will be for sale). Let me know some changes that I might need to do.

Polar Kraft 1448 open floor plan. Give me some ideas on what to do with it. I want to do something different than I did with my other boat, the only problem is, I don't know what I want to do different. Maybe different style blind rather than a scissor blind. Anyway, give me some ideas.

Got a Quick Set blind a while ago and finally got it on. I had to build some aluminum brackets to mount the blind brackets on in the back. Also had to make plates for the blind brackets in the front to help distribute the weight as the front deck won't take the abuse I don't think. I also made some brackets for my front lights. All that's left to do really is electrical and paint it.

Just an update on how my build is going. I have had to make a door for the storage compartment, cut holes for cabin lights, both front and back, cut out for the switch panel, and plenty of other cutting and fitting. I've had to wait to get this stuff in before I could cut out for it so it's been more of a waiting game than actual working. I have tried to get everything I need that needs to be painted so when I paint, I can paint everything at one time. Now just to get some paint and stencils and give it a new look.

After 4 coats of paint (cause the rain and humidity kept screwing it up) I finally got the base coat done. Got all of the accessories painted as well. Time to look at some stencils.
