Hybrid duck boat build

Postby FCI90 » Sat Sep 07, 2013 8:51 pm

Just want to start out by saying thanks to this website... Yall put out a lot of good info for new people coming into the sport ... Im not new to hunting but only second year to waterfowl hunt...

Being new i dont have a lot of necesary equipment like a dog therefore i decided i needed a cheap boat to get rolling... I decided that building a hybrid would be my best bet

so here it goes tell me what yall think ...

Looks good to me! You just going to paddle it for now or put a motor on?

FC190 Nice Hyrbid!

Slayer I like the NL with the dog box. How much resin did you use?

I plan on building a combo between the SN and the NL shortly.

yep it is a dog box, it was not included in the plan it was an idea I got from someone else on the refuge forum. I modified it and made it work for me. It is a 10' NL. I used 2 3/4 gallons of resin but I am alright with that lol. I put foam in the sealed compartments on the side of the dog box and they are fiberglassed to the hilt.
