Are any if you familiar with this motor and what it might be worth in average condition?

I own a 2008 model and can tell you what you want to know about the motor itself. No way I can give an accurate value without seeing the motor. I gave $2795 for mine new in Oct 2008 if that helps. That price was well under list.

I was curious as to the average going price of that motor in average condition. I've not actually seen the motor yet myself. I just wanted to have a base value in mind when I get there, to add/subtract from. I see nada have low to average retail in the 2200-2400 range. Would you agree with that? I know you haven't seen the motor, but picture the average motor, if there is such a thing. Not cherry, not beat to hell and back. Fuel injected or carbs?

Is that nada dealer or private party? Sounds like dealer but not sure. I wouldn't pay over $2200 unless it was in nice condition. It has carbs 100/1 fuel/oil mix ratio. Power to weight ratio is very good. Mine is easy to start. Has a manual start as backup.

I'm assuming dealer (online search) since it was low, average, and high retail shown. No private sale value was shown. I only mentioned the low (2200 range) and the average retail (2400 range). The high retail was ridiculous. Nobody I know would pay that for a used 25.
Is yours a short shaft (15" transom)? The long shaft is for the 20" correct?

Short shaft, I hunt a lot of green timber and river backwater in a Weldbilt 1542V, a long shaft would never work for me.
