1648 alweld motor options

Hey guys I'm currently trying to buy a 1648 tracker grizzly. My question is how well would a 25 hp godevil push this boat? I just inherited one from my father. Just curious if the long tail will do the job or if its underpower

How hard will it be to operate the long tail in a open Jon boat. Would it be a smart thing to add a upright handle of some sort
