serial # on flatbottom

Postby woodduckhunter » Thu Jan 18, 2007 7:03 pm

I have a flatbottom that I need to get registered for next season. The boat is old(1976), I need to get the serial number for registration. Where would it be found at, or would it even have one?

all the boat i have had have had the serial number on the transom. most older skiffs had the serial number on the back side of the transon on the starboard side.

Here in indiana if it is so old , you dont need a HIN. i had a 1979 duracraft and the BMV told me it was old enough that i didnt need a HIN. Check with your state first.
