I was looking at boats and am going to go with the lowe roughneck 1756 vt model with trailer. I'm my area indiana (close to chicago) i have been qouted on average of $4200 dollars for the rig. Is this a good price or on the high side.

Doesnt sound too bad, Heres what I paid a year ago for an xpress 1756 performance hull camoed with bed liner, side console, fish finder, jack plate, and troller was 6055, then an aluminium trailer 1195. Then the motor.
If they're dumb enough to be lured in by plastic you're really just doing them a favor.
Know your target before you pull the trigger.

Does not sound too bad, a friend of mine bought a 1998 or 1999 Roughneck 1754 with trailer and 60 HP Johnson for 5K.
