laydown sneak boat marsh boat what ever the proper name is the boat is an outlaw ducker the flimsy transom have been told to go with a 35 thrust trolling but do not like the idea of electric and want to go gas wondering what HP I can go with whats equivalent to a 36 lbs thrust?? also I can easily beef up the transom to handle more...

I hunt shallow 1ft-6ft water will use push pole in sholwer spots and do ot run rivers or large lakes not looking for a speed daemon either its a 15 footer by the way

I just put a Swamp Runner kit on my 13' layout boat. It has a 2.5hp motor and pushes the boat at 4-5 mph.
