I have a 1989 16x48 mod v landau. Been a great boat only problem is I usually have to fix a few leaky rivets every year.

Built in Lebanon, Missouri across the interstate from Bass Tracker and next door to Lowe. When GenMar bought them (along with Lowe, Ranger, etc.) the plant was closed after GenMar went bankrupt. Don't know if the plant has reopened or not. IMO, they were a decent hull and on par with a Lowe.

I used to have a 16' version… it was all welded and had a 30hp yamaha tiller on it that i later took off and put a 50hp yamaha on with a side console and that boat would fly (45mph :grooving: ) It was an excellent boat and I never had any issues ; mine was a 2001 and I believe the above poster is right, they were bought out and then they went under.
