longtail to short tail

i have a go-devil 25 hp long tail mud motor and was thinking that i can change it to a short tail mud motor. i dont even know if this is possible. so if you know anythong about it or have any ideas please share thanx.

Short shaft? Do you mean a Short tail mud motor? Short shaft usually means a 15-16" shaft outboard. Anyway, clarify and you will get more of a response I'm sure.
