Motor problem

Postby QuackAttack873 » Thu Nov 14, 2013 7:20 pm

9.9 force outboard. Have replaced head gasket and water pump in the last two weeks. Took it to scout and it ran great for about 30 minutes then just died. Had plenty of gas. I have put fresh gas in the tank changed the plugs and replaced all the clamps on the gas line. And it still won't crank. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Check to see if you have spark. I hold the plug in my hand and it lets me know real quick if there is .
I feel for you as you have the worst outboard ever made so save your money and buy something else. Don't spend another dime on that pos.. Just my experienced opinion. Sorry to be so blunt...

I heard that.. It's probably the biggest POS of a engine I have dealt with. Now it's going to the scrap yard
