This is mine...finally started work today on her. She is stripped down and down to bare aluminum, ready for primer. Hopefully I can get it completely ready by teal season.

While you got flipped over and painting it you should gator glide the bottom if you hunt shallow Marshs

Man I really thought about that or steel flex, but I am really trying to stay low budget here. That stuff is so dang expensive. I am just gonna prime and paint. All the leaky rivets have been filled with 5200, and she doesn't leak a drop for now. If I had an endless budget I would do that in a heartbeat.

newest addition, quick rattle can job will make it work for the short term...planning on the garden netting, leafy die cut stuff, then raffia to finish it.

It may not be the most conventional duck boat, but for river hunts it definitely gets the job done. Plenty of room to lay back and stretch out under the cover, light enough for two people to carry, and is extremely stable.

Here's a quick pic of my new excel 17x54 F86 with upgraded .125 hull. It's in fishing mode in this pic. Hoping to get a gator tail 35 gtr for it next year for waterfowl season. This year will make due with the Yamaha 60 four stroke!

Building a blind for it currently

Here is mine. 1995 Tracker Sportsman 1648MV. Was bare bones when I got it. Cut out middle bench, added all aluminum floor, bow deck extension, storage hatches and electronics. Powered by a 1994 Johnson 50/35 that my buddy and I completely rebuilt last summer. We don't hunt out of my boat, but use it to get to and from hunting spots and it's setup as a pretty good river fishing boat.

Rocks are 'dekorra' rocks... they are made of plastic and typically used for landscaping. They weren't cheap.... but hold up extremely well to the abuse we put our boat through.

This is our 16 foot modified V bottom duck boat. It has a 1992 Evinrude 48 HP outboard with tilt assist. The console is front and center, with 2 2520LM LED Flood lights mounted and a trolling motor mounted on the front for fishing. Blind is in the works.
