need plans for a pond box

Postby Jerseywaterfowler26 » Sat Dec 28, 2013 8:21 pm

I hunt out of the bay and on some lakes and decided that I would like to make a pond box. If anyone has some free plans that they can share that would greatly appreciated! Please email thank you!
I'd rather be hunting, dont trend on me

Go to your local library. Check out the book Misty Mornings and Moonless Nights, by Norm Strung. In the chapter on Duck Boats, you'll find some plans that might interest you.

While you're there, get Zack Taylor's Successful Waterfowling. Go to the chapter on Boat Designs, you'll find the plans for a coffin box. This is another good one.

Good luck. Nothing is quite so satisfying as building your own boats and blinds.

Steve Sanford's gunning box is a nice towable pond box that's worth a look:
He's a nice guy too that will help you out with any questions you have.
