Motor setup ?'s

Postby TalkNdiRty » Wed Jan 08, 2014 6:47 pm

I am getting WE 648 with a 40hp etec. It will have electric trim. And a cmc manual jack plate. I am also getting a SS power tech prop. But not sure in size or pitch??? So any opinions or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Why do you think you need a ss prop on a 40hp?

You need to run it with the aluminum prop and a tach so you know what changes you need to make, if any, to the prop.
