over head cover?

Postby fat_man92 » Wed Mar 12, 2014 7:40 pm

Just bout a boat with a blind on it. Sat in it and my head stuck out like a sore thum. Was looking for some ideas on some cover for me?

I was thinking that the best blind would be a roof with open sides. Most of my shots are no more than 45 degrees anyway.

I like overhead cover as well. Problem is as the birds flair from the gun fire you have to be able to track and lead. I use the Beaver tail flip top that I modified to work with my boat's blind.

Wear a headnet? Brush or grass the top edge of the blind with tall cover to add some height.
