Sometimes I think...
'Do I really want a beer?'
Then I remember there's a supervolcano under Yellowstone that is 40,000 years overdue, and when it erupts, it could potentially cover most of North America... and I'm like,

I have run an 8 hp on a 14/36 jon boat since 1987. 3 guys, dog, 18 decoys & gear. I never had a problem getting it up on plane, just have to use common sense when it gets lumpy.

On a side note, I retrieved a bird on a day with a VERY stiff wind, I was alone in the boat, grabbed the bird going down wind, slapped the gas to WOT, swung around into the wind as I was coming out of the hole. The damn thing started chine walking!!!! I had to do a gunnel grab to keep from being thrown out of the boat!!!!!!!!!! Not to self, NEVER. DO. THAT. AGAIN!!!!!!!!

I tried it, it, it did not work!
