Does anyone know anything about this motor? I have the opportunity to buy one for a good price. From what i've read, these are the same motors that spec-ops uses on their "zodiac" inflatables. 55 hp with a dura jet system. I dont think it's a true jet drive but the prop is housed inside a shroud to protect it from rocks, logs, etc... Any thoughts, opinions??

Should be a good duck boat motor for banging around in the timber, shallows. Safe motor for your dog and swimmers too, won't get chopped up by prop. I have no idea how much speed they scrub from the housing though. I would think some.
There are still things worth dying for and 1 of those things is freedom.
