I will be hunting a big slough this fall its a WPA. I need a boat that is light and that I myself can row for a long ways, and that is not that expensive.
I have a canoe and a kayak now. The canoe is to big for me to paddle a long ways by myself. And the kayak can't hold enough gear. What kind of boat would you recomend?

What depth of water is it? How choked with emergergent and submergent vegitation is it?
Maybe try using a small (-3 hp) motor of the canoe you already have, or a elec trolling motor.
If too shallow for motors, then try push poling, using a small pointed boat like a Carstens or similar, they are very stable so standing up and push poling is pretty safe.
