boat specs

Postby Jaxonjarrett » Sat Aug 13, 2005 10:23 pm

I just got mine and its a 1996 648 War Eagle with console. It has a 1996 40 hp oil injected suzuki. It carries dual batteries, 6 gallons of gas, 55 lb minn kota all terrian trolling motor, four seats and about 75 pounds of tackle/ emergency repair kit, and what have ya. I just got off the water a little bit ago and got 34.6 MPH on my garmin GPS full throttle. I had three passengers totaling about 500 lbs. I think that is plenty fast running back country rivers / lakes with the surprising stumps and debris. I know it isnt the specs you were looking for but it is still pretty good. It take a bit for it to get up on plane....but when it does....its fine.[/img]

Duckhunter6 my current boat will run better that 28 mph with a 25 hp. It will run 31. It all depends on the style and weight of the boat.

A 1440 Xpress flat bottom, boat weighs 225. Motor sits on 5" trim/jack plate and has a stailess prop not sure of the pitch.
