I currently have a 2004 xpress vx15db it runs great with a 40 h.p. 4 storke merc. but its a low to the water boat and is a wet ride on a windy day. Does anyone else have these boats or suggestions i was looking to sell it and get the new triton frontieer. They look sweet as can be but they are brand new so if anyone has any specs on it like the 17 foot model the speed and so on. My xpress runs about 44mph empty boat that is. So i want something that is going to run about 40 with gear in it.please let me know i am entering my 2nd waterfowl season ever and need a lot of help i have no mentor so to speek.

I agree , a day sitting in the blind with dry clothes is going to be a day you go home empty handed. :toofunny: It's something thats going to happen.
