First Pintail Mount

Postby cast-n-blast » Tue Oct 25, 2005 1:37 am

Got my first pintail mounted from last season. Well worth the wait I think. It wasn't the most mature bird, but it was in tip top shape.

O.K. Cast, I'm about sick of looking at those birds of Todd's! Some day maybe I'll be able to make a bird look that sweet. I'm getting there, and only hope to reach his pinnacle. Very good looking Sprig, but mine has a longer tail  ! Pete

Thanks guys  , Todd invited me to sit in with him some time over the next 6 mos. or so and I'll watch him take a bird from start to finish (I hope to do the next one myself). Its amazing that he can do it all in one day!!!
