No flesher....

Postby BSUTravis » Wed Jan 11, 2006 8:23 am

I have a shoveler that I am going to attempt....I was wondering if the small wire brush is the best way to de-fat the skin in the absense of a wire-wheel flesher? Any tips or other ideas that might work better than the wire brush????

Thanks.

I started out using scissors and a small, fost wire brush. You won't get the best job done the fastest, but you can do a decent job. I have mounts that I did w/ scissors and wire brush that have not leaked grease and they are 5 years old.
