Can you buy the heads with the eyes already set in?

Yes, Van Dyke's carries them. I don't know if they have all the species available.

heads

Postby sc_countryboy26 » Mon Jan 16, 2006 7:33 pm

I ordered some from them that I thought were like that and when I got them they were seperate. I didn't want to deal with the hasle of sending them back and waiting on them to send me more. Maybe I will try that again. Thank You

You are correct, they don't sell any with the eyes already attached, but they do have the apex head with the flexable eye ring to make setting of eyes much easier for you. Did you check with McKenzie? personally I'd rather set my own eyes, because sometimes the suggested eye size is either too small or too large. All birds are different, just like the artificial heads that don't always fit with great precision.
