Call your state DNR to ind out their regs as far as licensing, etc. Then, call your state Dept. of Commerce and they will give you all the info you need.

Start off by getting your taxidermist license through your state's Game and Fish Department for mounting mammals and big game.

If your going to mount migratory birds, (waterfowl) your gonna need a federal license as well, through the U.S Fish and Wildlife Service.

Good Luck!

Lots of state laws and regs as well as federal laws that come with VERY expensive fines when violated. Our state DNR sends in undercover agents into the taxi. shop to try and get you to do something illegal and to snoop around the shop.
Hey, did you grab the blind bag with the shells when we left the truck?
Safetys, use them: If you can see red, you can get dead!
