Missouri Taxidermy

Postby cwilson » Tue Feb 07, 2012 7:36 pm

I am looking for suggestions for a good place to have a duck mounted in Southwest MO. I live in Springfield and this will be my first mount so was wondering if anyone has had experience with a taxidermist in this area. Thanks.

Contact cole@timberland taxidermy.net. He's a member of the Missouri Taxidermist Association. Ask him for the names of the top bird guys in your state. I don't think he does birds himself. If he can't help you, he should be able to point you in the right direction.

I just got a bluebill back lastnight, and I'm not sure if I'd recommend him anymore...My previous birds turned out great, but this last batch, something changed..I'm going to be switching to another guy that does birds for my friend (also in Sprf). I'll try to get some contact information and send it your way.

I thought the terms here prohibited posting names of taxidermy shops unless they'd paid to do so? Was I wrong? If so, I'll do it for you. Send me a pm.
