Nice Mounts!

I just dont really like the redheads foot thats in the air.
The group ended up with 420 birds.

(\__/) This is my bunny. There
(='.'=) are many like him but this
(")_(")one is mine. Cut and paste the bunny into your signature to help the bunny gain world domination !

on the redhead, the down foot looks to be a bit far forward. redhead's being divers they're legs are further back on their bodies

:salude: your right on the redhead...... divers legs sit back further on the body, i am assuming these are pastic bodies....... do you use any of the leg bone at all. if you did you would see what i mean.

I'm not great with words, since i'm a graphic designer, not a writer but I can draw! here's what Duckhntr is saying (hi dad)

Image
(excuse the drawing, it's hard to do stuff like this on a laptop... pretend this is the front of your duck:oops: )

the bird's down foot should be under the head, not off to the side, since he's balancing on one foot. the trick is, a body needs to keep it'spoint of contact with the ground centered with it's head to keep it's equilibrium. if a figure has two feet (or hands) on the ground, it's head will be found directly between them if you look at a crosssection of the figure. if it has one foot on the ground, then the head will be centered between that (meaning that it'll be right above it.)

I hope this helps.

 the drawing is correct. a bird on one foot must have its weight centered, if not it cant stand. to learn this take a duck and boil it down to nothing but bones then take #18 wire and put the bird togeather you should be able to stand and move the skeleton and see why your mounts dont stnd correctly. i am not critizizing you its the way i was taught.... before mounting anybird i had to study anatomy, and by rebuilding ther skeleton i was able to understand,.......i hope this helps.
