Funny how taxidermists can turn a vacation into "work". Luckily I have my two boys to help with the scavanging :grooving:

Here is FRESH dinner right out of the traps

Luckily I didn't have to boil a ton of blue mussels this trip to bring back. The tide brought bags of already "dead" ones to shore.( That isn't a small box) :grooving:

...And what Taxidermist could pass a cool looking piece of driftwood up ? Not sure how I will be getting it home but it is atleast safe until I figure that out.

I can't wait to get back come December to cash in on the sea ducks....and do a little more "habitat" collecting

Kids also got to watch an Osprey dive down from the Heavans to catch a pretty decent sized fish, a family of sea otters playing in the waves, and daddy "fight" giant sunstars (YUCK) that got into the crab traps. GOOD TIMES

SEE PETE, Even Brian keeps driftwood that he found. I told you it was fine. :lol3:
If I lived out there I would have a building full of the cool stuff I see but have to just leave it since you can only fit so much into a suitcase. :lol3: You would have laughed at how far I had to carry that piece up and over downfalls in "gooey" low tide bank. I just had to rescue it from the sea....
