Brazilian Ducks

One of my favorite ducks from Argentina and Uruguay. Decoy well and really look lit up in the sunshine with the flashing and the electric irridescence of the wings.

Pat,

Do you know anyone here in the states that breeds those and what the market $ for a mature drake is ? I am thinking Comp. piece if I can get my hands on a nice one and I know how pinny they tend to be.....

Great job by the way  :clapping:

Let me check and see. I used to have them and raised some, but about the time the tails were good the wings weren't or scaps were ragged or something. Never did see one much better than some I have from down there. Last timeIi bought some they were fairly cheap but haven't seen them offered in a while. Check with Karl too.

Hey Pat,
beautuful mount. I only have this species from a breader with cupped wings but seeing them in a flying pose is stunning,

Rainer.

Their tails always seem to be lacking even if the rest of the feathers are nice.... :fingerhead: Those drakes are about as colorful as it gets.
