Eagle head blue goose

I think I killed an eagle head blue goose today and was wondering how I could go about telling if it was an eagle head or a juvenille snow. Im not sure cause we dont get alot of snows/blues in our area? any info would be nice

I didn't reply, because you were asking if it was an eagle head? That term simply is describing the characteristics of a blue goose that has the white head. You had no picture, so I thought you would certainly know if your goose had a white head or not? But now I have answered. I was not sure if it was a juvenile or an adult because there was no picture. Whether it was what we would call an eagle head or not is irrelevant to its maturity and lack of photo.

Great job on the blue goose, and the fact it has a white head. Very unique. Sort of like comparing it to grains of sand in the Sahara. :yes: :beer:

I saw one standing on the shore of the lake two days before the opener it was a true moral test.
