Redhead Mount

Postby TX-DUX31 » Sat Jan 12, 2013 7:15 am

Just got my Redhead back from the Taxi. I think it turned out very nice. Let me know what you guys think?

Looks decent, I think the neck angle is kinda sharp though. I'd love to shoot a redhead someday. Nice mount!

Thanks. I agree the neck is a little off, but overall I am very happy. I have shot several Redheads, this one was just in great condition and was extremly large. So I figured it needed to go on the wall.

Overall i would say that looks good . I"m not sure how much money you paid for this mount but if you paid good money i would find someone else next time. If you pay really good money for a mount, there is no reason you should have to feel bad about any part of that mount. That taxidermist should have set the head / neck profile better than that. I would definetly call him out on it so he can improve his work.

Looks good except for the head/neck angles/junction.
