Look farther down this page and you'll find a thread about just that.

I would mount it flying, or standing, or resting, or swimming, or a dead mount. Sorry, that's all the ideas I have?

OK, all kidding aside, my next duck mount is going to be a ringer, so I happened to have saved some varying reference pictures. Do yourself a favor, and search google images. There is a ton of free images online. Of course the rights to the photos are the original photographer, but I'm not using them for anything except a reference. Using mounted birds, or getting someone else's opinion doesn't mean anything, and that's why I posted that sill response to a sort of open ended silly question. I replied with every answer you were probably going to get. It's so common a question, I can't understand why it is even asked any longer, especially concerning the fact that there's so many images online?

But hey, instead of you looking for the images yourself, I'll take a few minutes, and pull these from my reference pictures I saved to my MAC. These four happen to be the landing images I happened to have. Still undecided how I'm going to mount the bird I have, but landing was GOING to be my first choice, but I may decide on another now that you have the same idea. Perhaps a sideways torquing bird that has been done 1000 times?
