I'm on a journey in this hobby. We are all at different levels, and although my work may look ok, I'm certainly not satisfied. A license is only a necessary tool to sell your product legally. Since I'm not ready or satisfied enough to let something leave my home, I will just continue to do this as a hobby. I have a great day job, and likewise a great hobby. I want to keep both as they are. If I was to charge someone for the product I would put out, I think I would stress myself out too much to appreciate what I currently have.
Thanks for the kind words, but my journey is still in motion.
I think I need to visit Pat. He tutored his very good friend Ramsey's Son Forrest, and that kid puts out work better than 70% of the taxidermists do, and I think he's like 16. He's only been doing it for a very short time, and I am stunned at the level he's at at his young age and lack of experience!
My next phase in my journey would be to pony up, and pay to see what those masters do. I am 100% self taught. Meaning I've grabbed every piece of free information provided, tried it, twisted it, and still come up short. I am learning, will continue to learn, and with my OCD behavior, will never be quite satisfied! :)
