replt to the freezer question

Postby jpm49878 » Tue Nov 07, 2006 2:19 pm

I just got back from the taxi, and he told me that it is best to wrap the bird in plastic ( preferably vacummed wraped) then use freezer paper. I was informed that it is best to bring a duck immediately to the taxi. i guess something happens to the feet and the skin of the neck area can break easily.

you can keep your bird in your freezer if you tuck the head under the wing and wrap the feet in wet papertowles before you freeze. i use a old pair of pantyhose to place the bird in then wrap infreezerpaper.
