Maybe someone can help. I am looking to find a paddlefish form and cannot for the life of me seem to find one. I went paddlefish fishing last year and have been looking ever since. THey are such a nasty, cool looking fish.

They are generally done with a replica. The nature of a paddlefish's skin, head and paddle make it very difficult to reproduce with a skin mount. They tend to ooze oil and shrink making the mount look less than desirable. Try looking at a supplier that produces fiberglass replicas.

You probably wont find one. You would have to cast the head and fins and carve a body. But you still may have greese bleed thru. The best and only way to go in my opinion is a replica.

I wouldnt mind doing a replica if i could find a blank. i cant find one of those either. I guess that would be the next trick. any ideas

Thanks i will check those out. And yes i am planning on doing it myself. I do all my own stuff and love doing it.
